We will have to see what happens if this is rejected from RM, brother.

The trouble is we are brainwashed into thinking in this country that we are lucky to be in a job let alone have a pay rise!!
This union is one of the last heavy weights to go against this capitalist idealism.
This union has gained nearly a 9% three year pay deal better than any other!!

Perhaps the 9% was negotiated on the strength of the intended job losses and the savings from lapsing, taken across the country there must be millions being saved from lapsed duties.

Royal Mail paid 9% because that's what they thought the agreement was worth to them. The idea that the negotiators bullied them into it is nonsense in the context of 21st century employment conditions. The only real strength came from the members in voting for strike action.
