Tracked items
Looking for advice on tracked items: simple explanation on front of item saying not to deliver to neighbour. If I deliver to neighbour then they say they haven't received who will be to blame ?

Been told by management you can deliver to neighbour even though it says not to.

You will be - they have opted out of DTN (the sender) so it won't affect the First Time Delivery Scores. At least thats how it was explained to me when I asked about it.

If it says Do not deliver to neighbour then don't.
Mine, personally is, P739 the item, even more so if it needs a signature, and return it to the office.
Better safe than sorry in my view.

That's what I did 739 and took it back, only management said I should have delivered.

Wabbithunta: told management this !! They said they've had email from up above to say we have to deliver, well it needed a signature and know one in so I 739'd because clearly said not to deliver to neighbour but management adamant I should have tried neighbour. I would like an official statement from union on this.

Rubbish!!! The e-mail I've seen says that these items are NOT TO BE DELIVERED TO NEIGHBOUR. They don't count on the FTD score. Not in = P739. No debate

What is the lastest on ticketmaster tracked items, haven't seen any for ages but was always told never to deliver these to a neighbour but haven't seen any over the last 3 or 4 months since the hullabaloo started on getting every tracked item delivered?5plusbonusball wrote:You must be on about those ticketmaster tracked items , they will post easily but they need a signature. Do Not Deliver To Neighbour. So does management tell anyone to deliver these too?
Anything that needs a signature I always leave a P739 for, if nobody is in at the recipients address. I cite "local knowledge" etc to management.
