Stage 2 not issued,

In September i had a fall at work and was off for 4 weeks, I returned completed rehab and am now back on full time hours. At the beginning of January i had my stage 2 interview, it was not issued and it was back dated to the end of my absence. If I have a sick absence will i automatically trigger another stage 2 or does it revert to the 2 absences or 14 days in the 6 months from the date the stage wasn't issued? any help appreciated

Thanks, so just to clarify if i have 1 day off sick it will trigger a stage 2 because the september absence will count towards the 2 absences of the stage 1 procedure?

If I am reading your posting correctly your absence of 4 weeks in September was discounted due to an accident at work and should now mean that your last recorded absence would be the one that triggered the stage 1. Therefore to trigger a stage 2 you would have to have 2 absences or 10 days whichever come first in the next 6 month period.

Your impression is wrong because like anything else in Royal Mail land they have a get out of jail card on inserting the word normally, as in accidents on delivery will normally be discounted or my particular favourite disability related absence should normally be discounted.

The onus is always to find blame on the postie.

You was lucky! I have just received a stage 1 after falling and breaking my arm on duty.
I was told that the accident was my "fault" as I can't have been paying attention and therefore caused the accident
