Last year we made a number of improvements following feedback from our people and customers, which included the re-design of our ‘Something for you’ card.

The revamped cards were developed with feedback from postmen and women on delivery and in enquiry offices, and from consulting with customers.

Following successful trials across a number of delivery offices, we rolled out the new landscape ‘Something for you’ card design nationally last October. Feedback showed that the new card worked for both customers and postmen and women.

Taking your comments on board

You said: Customer information should be more prominent.
We did: All customer information is now on the front of the card.

You said: Completing a ‘Something for you’ card takes too long.
We did: For offices which have moved to collections ready the next working day, you no longer have to write in how many hours a customer needs to leave before they can collect their item.

You said: Customers don’t always bring the right ID when collecting their item.
We did: Included clearer information about what forms of ID customers can bring.

You said: The box for ‘number of items’ is too small and easy to miss.
We did: We moved the ‘number of items’ box to the top of the reverse side and made it bigger.

Need to put opening times on front as they dont look at the back.I've seen soooo many customers getting to the door and realise it's closed.Then they look at the back of the card and say some rude words.

Lack of room to fit long addresses on the card

Portrait style is awkward to write on while trying to juggle a packet, PDA and bundle of mail

TOO BIG FOR BLUE SHIRT POCKETS WHEN FOLDED IN HALF!!!
AND:-
ALWAYS SUPPLIED WITH CRAP PENS - WITH A LID - YEH I HAVE 2 SPARE HANDS AND TIME TO REMOVE THE LID, KEEP IT SAFE AS NOT TO LOSE IT, THEN FIDDLE ABOUT PUTTING IT BACK, COLD WET HANDS.
ALDI HAD A GREAT PACKET OF 10 PENS FOR 99P, CLICK ON/OFF AND A RUBBER GRIP.
Obviously the office to**ers who procure these items have never actually tried them in a real environment.

Writing "24" has caused me trouble for ages. Might even have time for lapsing now....

They are the same size as the old ones, only they are portrait style. Why would you need or want to fold them in half?

Yeah did last week , years ago we were in trouble if we left anything with neighbours , desperation .
