Election leaflets as D2D, do we still get paid ?

Was told today that we can expect some general election material within the next 2 weeks coming through as d2d's.

As it is d2d material we will not be paid any extra money ?

We normally get 6p an item via the national agreement however if its d2d then has it been already paid for and is this right ?

Thought the same myself today while delivering Labour D2D.

We get 3p when we get paid, still don't understand that !

If it comes as a D2D contract - ie boxed/palletised/banded for individual duties and sometimes with a control sheet - then as far as I know there is no payment as it comes under the D2D.

However, if it comes as Election Material and you get control/claim sheets that match that then - Yes you should get paid.

Yeh Im guessing it's the former, the disparity in election payments though? :thumbdown

There are 2 sorts.
1 is not election material, but simply a crafty way for local parties to get noticed, these are the ones that come through as a D2D. Labour are the usual suspects for doing this.

The 2nd will be election material and comes through differently. These do have the separate payments.

So no conning going on :thumbup
