Vote of no confidence in reps

What would be the correct procedure for getting a vote of no confidence against a cwu rep?
Could it be done at an AGM or does it have to have a majority of the unit member sign a letter or form?

How would a vote of no confidence in an Area rep be done? this has to be more difficult as there are multiple units involved.

If there's an agm there's no point in basically just humiliating the current rep, rather than a vote of no confidence get someone to stand against him that way rep changes to who you want (if enough votes) and allows everyone to save a little face rather than it getting a little nasty with a no confidence vote

Area rep again best way is for someone to stand against the current rep, as at end of day even in event of a vote of no confidence the current rep is not forced to step down

I often wonder in situations like this why 4 or 5 don't just go up to rep and ask them politely to step down. Given the stress and hassle involved I daresay most of the time the rep will tell them to stick the position up their collective places where the sun doesn't shine. I'm obviously guessing that one of those clamouring for change are willing to step up to the plate themselves.

They recently had a "round robin" in our MC to call for an extraordinary meeting against the area rep because the members had no confidence in him,about 80 members signed it but only 26 turned up. The vote was not carried, not enough members who wanted him out did not turn up, subsequently more misery with agency & casual working in the MC.
