Royal Mail looking to give ROMEC away for nothing

My local rep told us that Royal Mail want to give ROMEC away to a company called Coffey for nothing and if that happens our cleaners will face worse pay terms & conditions. We can't allow our office cleaners to be stitched up want to know what our union is gonna do about it ? If they get away with this whose next !

If ROMEC staff have never crossed our picket lines then they deserve our full support.

Our cleaners have a nice breakfast in their office, watch TV, sometimes have a kip and every Christmas one goes on holiday for a month from mid December to mid January. Their T&C's are obviously pretty good at the moment!

The cleaner at our office spends more time chatting than clean, the office is filthy, bins go un emptied for days and everything is too much trouble

So from the 2 above posts I guess its okay to attack everyones terms and conditions because they know lazy cleaners, or that you consider their T&Cs are already too good.

No they would not be covered under TUPE as Royal Mail own 51% of the Romec and intend to give their share to Koffey for nothing in return for being charged a cheaper fee for cleaning Royal mail premises.

This is the strategy which is to get rid of all non core jobs.
