Any other areas heard anything of new revisions?My office has been told we need to loose 400 hours?? no chance we are struggling as it is,another office near by have been told they need to loose 100 hours,is this widespread or just in my erea?Cheers

Been told 80 hours out our office. Aim is to have Flats coming in as sequenced which will apparently save time on IPS therefore we will have longer outdoors. Collections in evening reduced from 4 to 1 with the posties collecting from at least one post box on the way back to the office. I'm over by at least 30 minutes everyday except on a Tuesday just now so can just imagine the chaos when this happens. No doubt the early starters who work for free will come in even earlier to get the job done. Since out Park and Loop revision 2 years ago there are 3 people out the whole office that use their trollys (myself included). Our office is a absolute joke.

RM are looking at workloads and hours used, some offices are shocking compared to others and that's why they are being targeted.

I'm not sure exactly how efficiency is worked out though, I know RM use items per work hour but clearly in a rural area or area with lower mail volumes (poor estates etc) the items per hour is going to be nowhere near the same as a big city office with a load of commercials and heavily populated areas.

Just heard that my old office has just done another revision, doing away with all the 4 day duties and everyone is back on 5 days. You'd think that, as the 4 day duties were bigger, this would lead to an increase in duties?

You have discounted the fact that rural areas, particularly where there have been new estates built with young families, have increased packets because in general the lady of the house is sat at home on the computer buying stuff online, due to remoteness, in order to pass the time while the kids are at school.

could be mine as well as we have had our 4th revision since the shite came in.....going back on 5 days a week but the deliveries are staying at 4.45 and we are losing 2.
