We were told the other day if we deliver a Special after 1pm we should use the old signing cards and not the PDA as this has the time of when you delivered it.Is this not fraud???
Surely the gaffers need to look at why people are delivering specials after 1pm.Instead he said its our bonus thats gonna be hit as we have to give out compensation.More like their bonus will be hit.

Ask for the instruction in writing or refuse to do it

you may find once you ask for instruction in writing it suddenly changes :-)

I nip out with the specials we won't get to before 1pm before starting the round. Set the walker off with a bag and then catch her up when I've done those specials (and maybe some packets)

This is completely wrong. The managers are trying to beat the system.
They know that the delivery cards can be confirmed in by the Star2 guns anytime up to 14-20

Am I missing something? You simply don't deliver specials after 1pm. Ever. No exceptions. The sender paid for the service because it is vital that the item arrive before 1.

I wouldn't be happy if I missed my flight because my passport was delivered too late, or I lost out on a deal because a cheque didn't arrive on time.

Restructure your round to make sure the specials are all delivered on time. If it means an overtime claim, then so be it. If you don't want the overtime, go and talk to the DOM before tying up.

that is fraud. its on the same level as wot the OP was asking.

our dom told us about signing sd's on paper if after 1pm.

the only thing to do is get before 1pm. write all your specials down and keep an eye out for the time

If scanning takes place before 1pm as 'not delivered' before you have actually called, the customer can track the item and has done on one occasion in my case.It was not easy to squirm out of the ' did you call earlier and get no answer, you are here now at 13.20 but the computer says the item is 'not delivered' at 12.55'!
