Hi all
On 12th January in increased my hours by another 6 per week, great i thought, but im still only getting paid my old hours.
Ive had 3 payslips now and still no change.
Ive spoken to my dom a couple times and everytime i get the same reply,"yes im going to do it"
Im not even the only one as a few of us increased our hours and they are also having the same problem.

what im wondering is what exactly has he got to do?,surely its not that hard or time consuming to increase our hours.

Ive kept a note of exactly what im owed but its not the point,

They constantly nag us about working the hours we're paid but when its the other way round they're not so interested.

Have you signed and returned a new contract with the increased hours in?

DOM needs to do an ECR which puts on the system your new hours, technically its a 5 minute job on the computer, however sometimes the person who has agreed to increase your hours, doesn't have the ability to change it on the system as you might not be on their PSP

You'd like to think not, but this is RM! Mine took months to sort out (I went from a crappy P/T collection job to a hybrid duty) my Lino (who's PSP I was on) & my DOM hated each other so I was used a pawn in their silly game of getting one over on each other, I just had to claim the excess as OT while it was sorted, but made sure anything else I should have got was backdated i.e. any pro-rata bonuses and holiday entitlement

Ok thanks. Im now owed 18 hours for tha last three payslips, so IF it gets sorted for next weeks payslip i take it i shou.d get all that paid in one go?

I'm not 100% but i guess it would depend on the date entered into the ECR. I would ask your DOM to pay what you are owed as OT, and if its not sorted next week, refuse to work the extra hours and have a word with your rep, or even the DSM.

Many thanks, ill wait until next Thursday and if its not correct ill ask for it in overtime.
Ive done quite a bit of OT the last couple of weeks which gets paid no problem, but im not doing anymore until its sorted.

Cut off on the 18 hours owed, say 1 hour a week for 18 weeks, see what they say. A last resort that has worked for me, money soon appeared.
