Re: Induction Day
There's no real expectation to dress up for the induction day as you have the job anyway, but I dressed smart/casual. I know several in my group didn't really make any effort at all, embarrassing really.

Re: Induction Day
Smart casual but until you get your uniform don't wear jeans you will just be uncomfortable. Try to get some combat trousers as you need some pockets and some good quality footwear

Re: Induction Day
How about going to a fancy dress shop and renting a Postman Pat uniform, just to show you're willing and ready
I'm sure that will be a first!
Seriously, as long as you don't smell then I'm sure anything at your disposal will be adequate.

So are you not concerned about the potential consequences of you encouraging a female employee to attend work naked which shows your blatant disregard of the requirement that "all employees are to treat each other with dignity and respect"?

I very much doubt if a "very happy" smilie (
And you are very fortunate that 'purple squirrel' is apparently broad minded enough to probably not have taken offence.
