Collections revision query

Post by BB brother »

Hello All ! Hope your well.

Just a couple of quickies.

A manger at work is trying to stop the resign during the postbox strategy review.
His latest one is that the 33% rule applies for the revision to be qualified as major change. Anyone know what this is ? As far as I can see. every duty is changing so its 100 % !

also. We'll be spending a bout a quarter of our day processing. Does this make us elegible for the processing bonus along our 9 quid driving bonus ?

Theres one or two others but I cant think atm. Long Monday .

Processing bonus?

Is this for UTR work? i.e. segregating and traying up metered mail.

Do you work at a MC or a collection hub at a DO, I work in the latter, we are due to undergo our revision soon and apparently our hours are being transferred out of the DO and into the MC

Something wrong there I think Scotland.
Might be 6 quid actually.
Yeh. We sort and tray a load of stuff atm then send it to the m centre. Still do collections on top.

Sorry.
Collections hub at D.O. Although officially we come under mail centre. I think. It changes every other year.

We've always done this on top of our collections, though our revision they want us to no longer bring it back to our D.O, but take it to another D.O. which is 30-45 minutes each way, quite how this is going to work I don't know! At the moment we have time for around 45-60 minutes UTR work at the end of our collection, but with the revision we won't have time to get back to our DO let alone carry out any UTR work, and the reason we have to do the UTR work is because they haven't got enough staff at the MC.

Typical pie in the sky revision.
WE do it cos our last Manager was just trying to score brownie points. To the detriment of collections I might add.
I asked our new manager about this and he said hed chase it up. He also thinks Southampton will win the league . I fancy Southamptons chances more than ours.

Royal mail eh ? As a share holder im appaled !
