Trial from 9df to rolling rest day

Our managers and union reps want us to trial a rolling rest day from a 9df only they are saying their only gonna pay us one rest day when we are actually contracted to work all days except sAturday without the one month notice is this legal

The main reason is the manager doesn't like 9df neither does the union so we have to change

Why don't they like them?, not liking them is not a reason too get rid of them.

they'll probably come up with some excuse....they're getting rid of ours by saying there is not enough work on a Monday Tuesday and Saturday. it seems it is going to be nationwide 'cull' of 9 day fortnights and 3 weeks on one week off.....how long have you been working them by the way?
