Here is a fantastic opportunity to join our team at our site in Plymouth. We have a Collection & Deliver Manager role, in which you will be responsible for leading a team, accountable for health and safety, and operational quality, cost and people KPI’s.
As a line manager to delivery and collection drivers, as well as warehouse and admin staff you will be able to achieve maximum efficiency through resource and contingency planning.
You will drive the depot to achieve the highest possible customer service satisfaction levels whilst also ensuring a swift resolution to all customer enquiries and complaints.
You will manage stretching budgets
and as well as managing the vehicle fleet and suppliers to achieve the lowest possible cost . Whilst leading on health and safety and employee engagement KPI’s you will work towards making the depot a “Great Place to Work”. 
The successful candidate will also have:
Operational leadership in a multi-site, national network environment
Experience of working in a unionised environment
The ability to inspire large groups of individuals to achieve common goals
Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
Possessing or be prepared to study for a CPC qualification
Experience in a parcels, logistics or transport industry is preferred
This is a day shift with a typical start time of around 06:00. There is a key requirement to be flexible as there may be times where additional hours are required. There will also be weekend shifts (usually around one a month). Salary: Starting at £29,203 plus an on target bonus of 15%. (the bonus bit is the what we assist with
