Are you lazy?

In our office you are considered "lazy" by the DIM if you don't want to work your day off!!

So I'm lazy!!

Our DOM never works Saturdays, and our Linos (on 1 in 6 rotating day off) never work theirs either, but yes we get the "you've just taken a turd on my shoe" look if we don't fancy working our days off. I personally don't mind, apart from when it's my long weekend.

you also get that look when you tell them youre going to be cutting off when its a busy day and dont want to stay out on OT to finish it

At work they don't even ask me anymore. Lazy so and so's.

My duty was a Sat s/a for 10 years from 2001-2011 I worked all of them apart from when I was on leave.Then in 2011 they made it into a rotating day off,and what happened? "Can you work your Saturday off this week"? Er no,You changed it to a rotating day off so i'm having the long weekend thanks!

I haven't worked a rest day for almost a year, so I'm definitely one of the "lazy" ones! They don't bother asking me anymore, unless they're really desperate - unfortunately for them that tends to happen on my long weekends, which I will never consider working.
