We are not stupid!

I hope the deal that everyone seems to think has been reached with RM is not a give with one hand and take more with the other>

What i mean is that if the pay rise is less than the D2D money they take off us IT IS NOT A RISE

If so i will vote against it.

We shall see, i hope the rest of you are not stupid all this for a pay cut!

Remember the more door to door the better [unpaid ones] soTuesday, when it's a bit lighter, will become door to door day and i will not be coming back to the office early so they can say i owe them hours on a heavy day. We can use all this to our advantage BUT for me the one big issue is on pensions because if there is a deal on that there is nothing we can do about it if it is accepted.....bit of a concern on this point

It'll be interesting to see if the Union have managed to snatch a defeat from the jaws of victory...

Somehow, I reckon they'll paint a rosy picture of what the deal will mean and some of the more gullible will fall for it...

However, the small print is what really needs to be looked at.

I'm a cynical bastard, but I don't trust those at the top-end of the union, they'll "feel" like they've done enough to claim some leftie-points, but are now just wishing they hadn't opened up this can of worms... and will do anything to settle this.

Keep them to task comrades! Remember... it's YOUR Union and they serve YOU.

Guys lets face it, we were never ever going to get everything our own way, and sometimes we just have to let the union compromise on this.
We have no idea, and there is no use speculating on what has been agreed in principle and what hasn't. Wait and see what is on offer before rejecting everything!

Sorry friend but the only reason we wont get every thing our own way is if we lay down liked whipped dogs and give up hard won terms and conditions, by giving in even one term or condition we let the likes of the lying twins and Charlie Brown gain from our toil and i for one will never legitimise there lies by giving in.

the CWU will probably swing to the left like the RMT after the late Jimmy Knapp , there was 13 week signalman's strike when those "hysterical people " according to Jimmy, who felt that they were sold down the river . There was more strikes after due to the graduate fast track policy in management & bus people running a railway mentality than BR . Staff actually prefered the ba****ds from before as at least they were railwayman.
