Evening all and happy new year!.
I have been under OH assist for the last six months due to a foot problem in which after numerous visits to a physio etc hasn't been recitified, so i have now been referred to a private hospital.
The appointment is out of work hours (in the evening), and i have to drive 50 miles each way. I have been told i can claim back travel expenses, however a work friend has also told me that you can claim overtime because it is work related.
Could anyone shed some light on this and tell me if it's true?. I have tried to get in touch with my local union (as i am a member) but they are not answering their phones.
I am very grateful as always for your help and time.
