Bank holiday while on annual leave?

What happens if a bank holiday falls while you are on annual leave?
Do you get a credit or do you get nothing??

If it's annual leave it will already have been credited to you when you picked your leave so you will already have had it, If it's your day off it will go into next years allocation unless you take an alternative day off the same week or as overtime.

Our DO always pay out as overtime. Id rather have the extra days leave but it was too much hassle chasing manager/writing room staff up on it.

Booking a single day off on leave is like pulling a tooth from a dead horses mouth in our office might as well take the money anyway.
