Can anyone explain the conduct code with which we are constantly getting threatened with. What differenice does it make? Thanks

Depends on the threat,usual one is wilful delay....when it clearly isnt.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I've never seen a manager who knows what the actual conduct code is !!!
The conduct code is exactly that, a code that both managers and the CWU follow.
So if you have done something that falls within the conduct code, that code must be followed, but seeing as most managers have no sodding clue of that code, you don't have much to worry about.
Common things that fall inside the the conduct code.
1: Violence.
2: Willful delay.
3: Stealing.
