UNION AREA REPS CREDENTIALS REMOVED FOR 1 MONTH ?

Heard this morning that some of the reps in areas where there was unofficial walk-outs have had their credentials withdrawn for 1 month...They can still attend disipline proceedures etc but i think they have to ask for pemission first.

This is part of the new Royal Mail sanctions(no longer return to work agreements) if you take unofficial action the area rep loses facilities for a month. If you go out agin it is 3 months and so on.

Any deal must include the removal of these sanctions.

yea we had this at stockport recently, a big part of this deal better be that management must stop trying to de-recongnise the union, an also that all strike related conduct code issues be dropped an the bullying,intimidation and sheer stupidity of the screws must stop!!

They want a deal based on local agreements and then they withdraw local rep status - stupid or STOOPID? Especially as the offices that are out on unofficial probably have the most bullying managers.

Does Leighton have a scoobie about how poor his managers are and if he does, does he give a toss - I doubt it.
