This morning I was told my suspension was going to be considered for bringing mail back to the office as I did not inform a manager what was brought back.
We had used the correct cut off process and was told to take the whole route out and bring back any mail we didn't have time to do, it's then put back into the frame the next day (the whole office has been doing this for the last 2 weeks).
I immediately went to our union rep who went and had a word and later was told I would not be suspended.
It really stressed me out and I feel like I was singled out as half the office is bringing mail back daily and 2 other posties told me they had done the exact same thing the same day and not a word was said to them.
Had to cut off again today and made sure to show managers what we brought back this time, only for the dom to sarcastically ask if we had actually done any delivery today and congratulate us on delivering one whole frame between 2 of us.
We both worked really hard today to do the best we could considering half the walk had 2 days mail and packets only to be spoken to like that!
I am considering putting in a grievance about both situations and was wondering if anyone on here thinks I have good grounds to do so?

Good managers offer support, not sarcasm - they should in fact be working for you and not the other way round. Just carry on doing what you are doing and stick to your guns - that will hurt them as much as any grievance procedure, but don't be afraid to commence one if the manager starts to try getting his own back. Make sure you and your partner witness everything and back each other up - good luck and don't let him spoil what little Christmas you will get.

Two ways about this as you say grievance or go sick which depends upon your sick record sighting bullying and harassment which will take the heat off you for a while. Having said that sticking a grievance will may do the same thing but is like sticking a red hot poker up the managers arse but it may resolve the situation but I doubt it for very long.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

He didn't do anything else that I'm aware of, he told me they couldn't really suspend me when everyone else is doing the same thing then he went to have a word with the manager.
When I was called into the office the second time I asked if the union rep was going to be in and was told "no" so I said I was going to get him and the manager said I wasn't entitled to have a rep there, but I know better than that and went and got him anyway. After that my rep said never to go in the office without him.
also I'm pretty sure when discussing something as serious as suspension, a manager is supposed to ask if i would like a rep in with me, which he didn't the first time.
