Says that he starts early this time of year, I wonder if he books it or, as he's in the Courier, he does it for the good of the company? :roll:

He probably has a walk that gets half a packet bag a day. The article mentions he starts his shift 'earlier than usual to cope with Christmas demand'. If he gets paid then fair enough, if he's doing it for free then what can I say, well done you're costing people jobs with your 'work ethic'.

I have no problem with DTN but some of the neighbours are starting to have a problem with it, if you get a parcel now and then I can see no problem with it. I have had a few people say to me this week, not again, this is getting stupid, why do they order this stuff if they are never home and also had a few refusals, people saying, please don't knock again as I'm not taking anymore.

Yep me too, so many are getting fed up now of taking in parcels for neighbours, and they are taking it out on us. I wonder if it's hardly worth all the grief anymore and usually don't bother!

It's all about going that extra mile for the DOM he will look at this and put 100 or 200 drops extra for next year or the gullible fooker who put's in for it next year! As for poster boy lino job in the offing with the tag golden balls well if he can do it why not you!

A customer on my walk always has a post-it on the door saying to leave their parcels with the neighbour, and a few weeks ago she was getting them every day, and even more from other couriers.

One day she had this post-it on the door, and then the neighbour had one on their door saying to try the house across the road. Luckily I didn't have any for her that day, people literally expect you to run around in circles to make their lives easier (and these are houses with long, steep drives too).

What we need now is Shaggy and Scooby et al turn up and rip that mask off the bloke to reveal Moya underneath!. She would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for those damn kids!
