How busy will the next few days be?

Christmas eve has traditionally been quiet and Tuesdays.

Any predictions on how the next few days will unfold?

im expecting a busy fri and sat, Followed by a medium Monday and a quiet Tue/wed

Christmas eves falls on a Wednesday this year, the busiest day of the week most of the time. So I think this years Christmas eve is going to be a heavy one, and if I remember rightly last years Christmas eve was one of the busiest ever, it was in the office I work at anyway, so im expecting it to be busy right up till the bitter end this year, again.

Because Tuesdays are always light (yeah, sure) we are on less hours and more on Wednesdays and Thursdays

But, for next week they have asked us to swap Tues hours with Weds. They must be expecting a busy Tuesday and light Wednesday

We've said no and keeping out contracted hours, too short of a notice. They should have thought about this 3 or 4 weeks ago

We were supposed to have 3 d2d's this wk, only 2 turned up but one of em was those red cross pens, our pouches were rammed as we wanted to get them out of the way Mon and Tues before the heavy days. Glad we did cos yesterday and today were stupidly heavy. God forbid anyone in our office getting those pens next week with only 4 days to take them. Cant Royal mail use a bit of common sense this time of year ??

Last Christmas Eve, I had so much mail and packets that even our DOM admitted it was ridiculous and took a load of the round off me and gave it to some of the lighter rounds to finish.

Short day tomorrow, short day monday, shorter day tuesday, and wednesday is a big no no for overtime in our office so hope it is nice and light or going to be lots of upset people out there.

I just read in the courier, Moya say's Delivery are pulling out all the stops, wrong, we are all knackered now. After tomorrow there are not many willing to extend and only a little bit tomorrow.
