What is even more amazing is the fact that security of mail is greatly compromised by working in the dark. What is CWU doing about this? SFA

We used to deliver in the dark when we all used to be out for 6AM when it used to be a proper job but those days are long gone

I nearly rolled my ankle over delivering a packet late evening to somebodys house up dimly lit steps , makes you wonder if it's worth doing, if it puts me out of work for two months I lose far more.

We got given body torches but they're not best, I deliver packets up to 8pm and a head torch is the way forward
