Agreement Reached

Post by neilcfc »

Interesting to see how different the agreement is to the original one, my guess is not that much different at all, looks like we,ve lost loads of money for f*ck all, should have listened to my dad who was on strike for us in 1970,s for 10 weeks who got offered what they started with, damn

But from what I have been told by some of the people who took part they received a good pay rise every year after the 71 strike because RM knew they were prepared to fight.
There's a moral in that for us. :lfo :cfo

Neilcfc are you honestly suggesting that we should just roll over and accept whatever is thrown at us...?

Remember, the way you do you job will affect colleagues for years to come - if you cut corners to do it quick, they will be expected to as well....and then RM will add extra work to fill the gaps.

There is no way we would accept the orginal offer the CWU know that because of the 77% vote for IA. But lets not guess lets wait till it comes out.

Didn't know about them. There are probably a lot more offices round the country that took unnoficial action which we haven't heard about. Well done to all of them. :Applause :Applause :Applause

Some are listed on here: http://www.socialistworker.co.uk/art.php?id=13239
