Severe weather

"A ‘weather bomb’ of strong winds and driving rain has already battered some areas of the country, and the MET office has warned of more to come.

Severe gales are expected to develop across much of England, Wales, Northern Ireland and southern Scotland this evening and into Friday, lasting for much of the day.

The wind is also expected to cause problems on western and southern coasts of England, as waves rise above sea defences.

Please ensure that you take appropriate precautions when out on delivery. If you have any questions or concerns about delivery in severe weather, speak to your manager".

And what he he/she going to do "Say don't bother today, its not nice out there, leave it 'til a better day weather-wise.
Why do they say speak to your manager, ours doesn't know what day of the week it is half the time.

In seriousness, best wishes to all those who are affected by this weather, especially those up North, the West Coast and of course our Scottish colleague's, who endure it for months on end, hats off to you.

From what I can gather the worst is going to be tonight clearing away in the early hours tomorrow morning leaving tomorrow not too bad a day with lighter winds and sunny spells but staying cold..
