any budding mathematicians/problem solvers on here?

i can't get my head around the following:

i'm on a 27.5 hour contract. however i've been made up to full time over the Xmas period. so i will be paid for 39 hours.
i'm assuming i get paid 27.5 hours and book the remaining 11.5 as overtime everday (plus more if i go over that as i'll be working my day off?!?!).

can someone tell me what time my overtime starts?
and why is my manager putting in 2 hours on the overtime sheet and getting all the part timers who are made up to full time to sign this?? i don't think 2 hours a day is right? or is it?

Let me elaborate....

my start time is 6.05 (6.17 on sat and 6.35 tues). finishing time is 14.00 hours. all the full time staff are paid 39 hours so obviously the weird start times must be disregarded and 6am used when calculating wages?!?!
anyway, if i start at say 6am then my overtime must kick in at 11.30. so if i am working until 2pm - that's 2.5 hours overtime and not the 2 my manager is writing down!!
where has he pulled this 2 hours from?

I agree - o/t starts at 11.30. Your manager either made a mistake or is pulling a fast one. Get it sorted out asap.

If you have been made up to full time 39 hours for the xmas pressure period then you shouldn't have to claim that as overtime, it will only be any hours worked beyond your full time finish time that will need to be claimed as overtime.

Assuming a day off during the week say Monday, using your start finish times:

Tuesday 0635- 1400 =7hr 25
Wednesday 0605 - 1400 =7hr 55
Thursday 0605 - 1400 =7hr 55
Friday 0605 - 1400 =7hr 55
Saturday 0617 - 1400 =7hr 43

Total hours worked = 38hr 53 min

If he has increased your hours on contract to ft 39 hours then you don't need to book anything unless you finish after the 1400 finish time, if he has not increased the hours on your contract then simply book the hours you work out side your contracted hours ie if coming in an hour early then book that and working hour and half over then book that, just make sure you and he have agreed exactly what hours you should be booking

should i have got something in writing to confirm this? and why is my manager automatically writing 2 hours down on the overtime sheet and asking us to sign it?
