I was just thinking about the "next generation" PDA's and the obvious trial that will take place.
Will it follow the same format as the other trials?

15 minutes pass.

"A little bit uncomfortable"
"They probably need wearing in. Okay lads, order 150,000 of them"

By the way, I have a mate who works in a mail centre and he categorically tells me that they were asked to wear the shoes for 20 minutes not 15.

John the runner has successfully trialed the deliver to neighbour scheme, we totally ignored the fact he started an hour early, didn't take his breaks, ran like a looney and door stepped all the packets, he got back before his finishing time, therefore taking no more time.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

as from the 1st dec managers will be informed that once delivery drivers return with tracked and scanned delivery items that have been 739 after there delivery they must re-deliver all the items for the area again.the more they get rid of the bigger there bonus will be after xmas. no manager can not get out of this one as this has been trialed in areas all over the countrie.

all the managers said after the trial they thought it was a great idea and loved working late for nothing.
by the way the london trail was stopped due to not having enough managers trainned with the hand-held scanners.

Anyway ... once P739 has been issued , that's it ... this item must be booked in and remain in Enquiry Office till customer make decision about it ... i-e pick it up or re delivery or not pick it for 18 days.
