Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas, ding.

Where to start.

Firms drivers (who are used to working just 5hr 30 min days) arguing and crying in the managers office because they are being asked to clear half a York of over weight packets when they return at 12.00pm. :Boo hoo!

Three bulging packet bags. :thumbdown

Temper from parcel drivers. :shock:

Tracked items going through the roof. :sad:

Pda battery giving up the ghost halfway round. :evil/mad

A trolley half full of packets and not enough room for mail. :arrrghhh

Trying to arrange refill drop offs. :confused

Working right up to your time and a little beyond only to find out the managers went home 90 mins before you. :roll:

90 mins. Ours are gone when we have all gone out. Locker person left on their own 'til someone gets back.

Bloody annoying.

Ours are out the door before 1pm most days. They get paid the same hours as us. :confused

54 yorks of packets in our office today, Dom had the cheek to say figure from the mail centre ( mount pleasant) says we have less mail then last week.
Either the figures are being fiddled :left: or someone isn't recording the mail correctly

Started our large pkt delivery service today I.e get the P/t staff in early to get the SD pkts out at 0730
Also got our Yorks labelled with duty numbers on for the above
......just need some more staff

My PDA is dying on me . Says battery is critically low every b loody few seconds towards end. Really annoying now esp with Xmas comin up

Oddly enough, when the mail is counted correctly,volumes are up,when it is counted the "Royal Mail way" (i.e. Weighed or guessed at),it is down. Who,would have thought it.

Someone asked me to take his pda back the other day so I switched the batteries over.Now my pda lasts a lot longer between charges ha ha :nana

I work in a small office ( 28 walks ) and this morning we had our usual 2 lorries and was told that another one was going to arrive at 7am, it arrived at 9am with 7 yorkes of packets on it, fair play to the DOM, he turned it round and sent it back again.

fair play to your dom ?.
you may well find out your guvnor will be going soon a case of wilful delay, 7 yorkes of packets delayed for 24 hours.
yet staff get sacked for cutting off, your guvnor will never be able to sack another postman or postwomen again for wilful delay.

We took mail and tracked packets only today. We were 20 minutes over and took every packet for both walks back to the office. And it's not even December for another 2 weeks :nana
