Trying to book this day as annual leave . Repeatedly told that this is is blocked . Is this true?

Apparently all dsm's wont allow doms to give anyone annual leave for that day due to risk of loads being absent. Personally I hope no one phones in sick and they have staff stood around doing nothing for the day due to over staffing. Pretty sure no dsm's and few dom's will be seen on that day.

Every office is different it will depend on what you office agreed to on the annual leave plan for 2014/2015 which should have been agreed to last October time just as next year's should have been agreed to last month

I was told that there is no national agreement and that it is upto the local office to decide how it manages the [normal] service that day.
