Hi do any offices have any scales for weighing bags / HTC, just had to do a computer test today for health and safety and it went on about how heavy your bags should be and HTC but we have no way of knowing ,

You are supposed to weigh bags before going out. The weight limits escape me, as they are routinely ignored/made up in our office.

I remember the rep moaning at me once for having over 16kg in one. The funny thing is, when I applied for RM I was warned 'May have to walk up to 6 miles and carry bags weighing up to 16kg' so I think the weights were reduced just after.
I have had the straps break off 4 or 5 times thus far on the pouches, and a couple of those were on the fold-up trolley NOT on my shoulder!

They got removed to make space for RM2000 fittings

We've got one on a wall somewhere. One of those you hook the bag onto. So really, you could pull your back trying to hook the pouch, to see how heavy it is.

They took our weighing platform out - had to fight hard to get it back in. Fair play, the majority of colleagues weigh HCTs before leaving office. Less than 5 percent of pouches are weighed though. On the monthly H&S agenda

Also you need to weigh everything as there is a weight limit (it's on the side of) on the vans.

Won't ask about the H&S rep as they are few and far between but what about A rep!
