Overtime

I have just had an interview for a part-time position 28 hours per week. Is it possible to get overtime every week to supplement my hours?

Hi Angela, overtime is not a guarantee, it will depend on various factors, sick absence, annual leave, mail volume to name a few. what you will have to do is volunteer on a daily basis to take any overtime that is available on that day, you may also volunteer to work your day off, just inform your line manager or however puts the resources into sorting the office overtime.

If your still able to walk after 28 hours, yes there is usually plenty available.

Our whole office runs on overtime. Half the office has worked there day off for months on end.

if you worked in my office you can do all the over time you want. i just done 30 hours this week onto of the standard full time hours.
