Clevedon - Royal Mail to make delivery changes

ROYAL Mail will make changes in the next few weeks to the way it delivers mail in Clevedon.

As part of its continuing ‘UK programme of transformation’, postmen and women will be using a combination of vans and trolleys to deliver letters and parcels to customers.

Geoff Braden, Royal Mail operations director, said: “The local delivery team is fully committed to providing a high quality service that is friendly, reliable and which delivers six days a week – just as customers have come to expect from the Royal Mail.”

Royal Mail will be writing to every address in the area about the changes and have confirmed that there will be no job losses.

So some customers might find that the usual time that they receive their mail might change - some will start receiving a later or earlier depending on the the way the rounds and loops are structured... Some will also see that their regular postie has changed and they have vans packed all over the place but they would have been told...

But is this going to stop some customers complaining weeks or months into the change that Royal Mail seems to be delivering their mail late and that the service has gone down etc...

Weve been doing park and loop for four years in jan 2015.

These posties in clevedon have been very lucky to wait this long.

Mind you not best time of year to switch.
