Did mine a month or so ago. I was worried as never driven a van before and had to take out a banged up transit out. Turned out to be very easy and i enjoyed it, plus getting 4 hours pay for it is a great.

First u start with 30mins or so just driving around. Then they point out the issues with your driving, mine were not locking in the side mirrors enough and at the start being to close to other cars. Then i did reversing round a corner which is easier due to the mirrors. After that he did a 30-40mins driving with commentary which was boring but u just sit there. Another 30mins or so of driving for me with him pointing out issues such as mirror use, clutch use, etc, followed by a few more turns and parking in a bay.

Its all very laid back and u can talk to the person. Its not so much about teaching you to drive but then picking up any bad habits you have and trying to help you stop them (the bloke i was with just said all he can do is show he taught me the right way todo things, if i choose not to follow them after its not his problem). As long as you don't speed and dont do anything stupid u should get a medium risk without any trouble.
