Senior royal mail management unfit for purpose

Post by k979aaa »

Never in all my time in this now business have I have felt so enraged by the fools from above some pontificate like the pope of no hope they are the enemy's of the business themselves. For without workers you have no business not least a company these prats in middle/senior management need to be eradicated and attitudes at the top need to be changed or we have no future END THE BOUNUS CULTURE NOW!

For me the biggest problem in Royal Mail is the fact that we have people at the top who have never done the job.
They sit at their computers telling us how long it takes to do this and that but could'nt do it themselves for me I have in 40 years in the job never seen a computer climbing a stair or deliver a parcel.

9% over 3 years and still chasing an incentive scheme I believe :cuppa

A lot of dead wood amongst the ranks too, think they are doing RM a favor turning up for work in the morning.

Best thing royal mail could do is take the short term pain, sack the entire workforce then offer employment with more favorable business terms allowing RM to compete effectively + no CWU recognition within the workplace.

I think the company would become far more healthy in short period of time.

I also believe this is going to happen far sooner than many of you think :nana :nana
Is that you Moya? The incentive scheme already in place for managers is far more influential on how delivery officers are treated, and is the basis for bullying, harassment and manipulation of figures.

It's favourable not favorable.
If RM were to do this it would be business suicide, By the time they sorted out the HR headache alone there would be nothing worth restarting the business for and how would no union recognition work?

I hope you're not a manager because you know f**k all about business or employment law.

How many collection failures?

Seems to me that many posties cant even grab the basics let alone run the place.

I would imagine that a high level of customer complaints would have to reflect on the quality of training and the quality of management. It's a poor workman that blames his tools which in this case would be the posties themselves. Do you have a high level of customer complaints in your office?

There is a high level of customer complaints nationally.

Good job we have WCM to find out which posties are incompetent, retrain them as required and if they still cant perform they need to be dismissed as quickly as possible to make way for someone that can do the job.
lol, this must be a wind up
