Working days off due to xmas pressure

Think I know the answer to this one but would like to clarify.
In our office we are "asked" to work our days off in the run up to Xmas due to pressure of work.
I have now been told that if I do not work my days off this year., then my Xmas bonus won't be paid.
Well, is this right, or am I entitled to say no and still get my Xmas bonus for working my contracted hours in the run up to Xmas?

The bonus isn't based on working your days off. As long as you work your normal hormal hours you are entitled to your full bonus. See you CWU rep if management are spewing bullcr@p about it!
