good idea or not good idea ?

last year about 4 weeks before xmas staff in our office were asked if they wanted to work 4 day a week until early jan,so you got an extra day off ,buy your 8 odd hours off would be spreaded over the other days you worked,i never choose to do this,have heard our office might be doing this again.im tempted to do this, this year an extra day off would certainly help.

I'd do it, I'd much rather work 4 9.45 days and get 3 days a week off.

Most will be working these hours anyway with OT paid.

Its a great opportunity to do additional hours overtime on your day off; whilst some just prefer to have their days off

A few of us walk sort whilst a few others fully prep 2 other frames as well as your own. It can get quite hectic on the prepping side when it is busy!! And various lino's have been cutting back on the number of walk sorters in our section and putting staff to prep in other sections. The rounds are also very similar to a 5 day week round as well, so if you are quick at sorting, it is very possible that you can arrive back at the office at the same time as them.
