pulled out of talks but an interim agreement is imminent to resume

Oh you can bet your arse that talks are going to resume and be ratified because this is part and parcel of RM/CWU campaign to Ofcom of efforts to curb costs and that is far more important than saving jobs but of course some would have you believe differently.

collections in london.

was it not royal-mail who split us into three delivery/distribution/processing.

and why has no driver on delivery been asked about collections also before any agreement is signed off (not billy).
all delivery driving duties must timed as the duties are now,then retimed with the so-called collections put-in.
318,s here we go again/and once again more calls for drivers to leave the CWU.

Wonder if they will have 8-4 driving duties ( mon - fri )
Deliverying packets
And collecting from firms and pillar boxes
Distribution is on overtime on Saturdays anyway
Lots of firms and schools arnt open on Saturdays

You'd think so wouldn't you but like D2Ds, the increase in packets and knocking on neighbours doors it will be assumed that the drop in letters will more than allow the collections to be fitted into the current duty span.
