finally

Post by kirstyx »

After being signed off work since the 6th of June I am now finally allowed to go back to work on monday admittedly im still under the care of rehab works and have to go back 3 more times before xmas and still seeing a physio and podiatrist and on a 10 week rehab plan. Fingers crossed it works and i can finally get back to normal, shockingly I have to say for the most part the dom at my office has been fine a bit overbearing but nothing major but I am expecting the managers to push the boundarys during my rehab so the next couple of months should be fun.

The managers may attempt to push your rehab plan to the boundaries but the 10 week plan is also a safeguard and is monitored by weekly rehab meetings normally conducted at the end of the week to check on your progress.
The progress is regulated on a scale of 1-10 in relation to pain level and discomfort and at each meeting there are 4 boxes and 1 will be ticked concerning the information that you give.
If for instance you are failing to cope with the work given then workload would have to be adjusted at the commencement of your 10 week plan hoping that by the end of 10 weeks your pain level and discomfort has decreased and the relevant box has been ticked.
If your 10 week plan is not progressing to schedule you can ask for this to be extended if necessary.
