Sorry if this question has been asked before, but can someone give me the correct answer please...
I'm a Phg and work indoors, I work Tuesday to Friday, I work S/A every Monday and Saturday.
On the August Bankholiday, I was on leave should I have
1) been paid 8 hours S/A and a day in lieu
2) been paid 16 hours S/A
Or
3) been paid 16 hours and a day in lieu
Thanks in advance

There's no such thing as a PHG anymore. People that work in the callers might get a leadership allowance possibly if they're the ones that open up in the morningjack~jack wrote:Postperson Higher Grade (they work in the callers office and help the manager), and get paid more than us.houseoflords wrote:Whats a PHG?

I would imagine you would get one or the other, but not both.

NO they don't get paid extra ....... not a single penny more extra than other staff. In our DO wage is same apart from 6 postmen who are on coaching duty. The get £30 or £35 more per week all year round whether they perform coaching duty or not .
