Between the two of us on our P/L rounds we had 7 packet bags full of parcels and a York full of large parcels for my partner the driver.
When we return we have 3 packet bags of returns and 10 large parcels and the DOM wants to know why we are not delivering them
I said to the DOM if he wanted 100% delivery they should get the items sent by Hermes and then they could leave them at the doorstep.
When he says that one of the runners never has any parcels returned I said work it out for yourself

Tell him that comparing one worker to another is the golden no no rule of management as everyone has different strengths and weaknesses and perhaps he should seek further training!

No weaknesses.......just different areas of development
Be very polite to your manager stating that you will chap up to 3 doors per packet. Obviously this "could" take up to 5 mins to deliver 1 packet. Therefore you will be cutting off and failing loops. Simples.

Blinking flip. How long were you out on delivery? Do you just do packets or do you have a normal duty with letters etc?

I don't think I get that many packets in a week..
Your lucky then, we deliver mail to 1300 houses between us plus another 80 houses on double lapsing although we rarely do it.
We deliver to council estates that must be on ebay all day ordering parcels.
We don't try neighbours though as we would be cutting off half the round
