How often do you have a resignation in your office?

Im not talking about retirement, I mean actual resignation due to being peed off with the job and have found something else? We have had 2 in a year,both went on sick due to stress for months first and then never came back. I know most of us moan about the job but people leaving in our office (over a 5 year period) is very rare. We have 40 postmen.

my office has had 4 this year so far including someone who had been there 14 years

More resignations than ever and mostly 'constructive resignations' as those leaving had no real choice.

I'd had enough of all the crap what they were putting on us..so I decided to go down the IHR road..knowing 3 people had done it before me...18 months later I know of another 4 that have gone down the sane route...

My former DO, which employed about 250 people, has had about 20 IHR's in the last two years, five of which came from my code area, which was the smallest of six.

They ain't bothered if you go, you either take the 17k or work til you die! Even the guys with the on duty heart attacks are back to their normal deliveries in less than 6 months !

They get rid of people in our office easily enough with ill health and trumped up `conduct` issues without us having to fall on our own LWT(that nobody uses) sword.
