That is my reading of it.
I don't think you can have a SD sent to the PO but I want one of those PHG bods (or someone who knows) to confirm it and show me where it is written in clear(er) English.

Doesn't this contradict deliver to neighbour as trying next door with a tracked item is delivering to an alternative address in the same postcode area.

This mean another address = resisdendial address or work place.

PO is company which is directley connected with Royal Mail. In our office we send special, recorded ,tracker and paid custom for local Collect.

So Tracked items can be foisted on some poor neighbour on the 1st attempt but not redelivered to a neighbour?

Clash, I aint no PHG bod, but for what it's worth here's my two penneth .......
I reckon you can have an SD for collection at a Post Office. You will still have to prove your ID as if you were collecting from a callers office anyway.
When we get a signature at an address we don't ask for ID, hence it can't be redelivered to another address.

So if I take the SD to the PO, do I need to get it signed for by the counter staff or do I simply scan the barcode on the Local Collect sticker and hand it over?

It doesn't say you can't have Special Delivery delivered to a different address.
When did it all change? (Have I been asleep for a few years?)

And if I take the SD redelivery to a Post Office, do they have to sign for it?
