In accordance with CWU National rule 11.5.2 please note that subscriptions for all members paying the standard rate will be increased with effect from the 1st January 2008 in line with the following schedule:
Communication Workers Union Contribution Rates from 1 January 2008
The above increase of 3.85% is based on the average of the latest available increases in the Retail Prices Index and Average Earnings Index (as set out in Rule 11.5.2.) and the increase for retired members (based on RPI only) is 4.1%. These new contribution rates will also be published in The Voice.
It's too hard to copy/paste so i got a pic of it.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I will happily pay £5.00 a week if they kick the stinking low life strike breakers out. I am fast losing faith with a union that seems more interested in its own survival than that of its workforce.
GET THE F*CKING strike breakers OUT BEFORE THEY POLLUTE THE WORKFORCE.
Leave the union, then you lose your voice within that union, some members say they want change at the top!! if you come out of the union then you wouldn't get a say in making changes.
