actually no the new agreement hasnt changed their rights to get this

however previous agreements are the ones that did gave them the right to the same number of saturdays off as anyone else, they should be getting equal to 1 in 6 saturdays off (or even 1 in 4 if office decided for that at last revision) that means they should get an average of 1 in 6 off not necessarily every 6th one off

also the agreement on relates to saturdays off not the following monday, so they may get an average of 1 in 6 saturdays off but it doesnt mean 1 in 6 mondays off as well

No it has not , you cannot have a workforce with two different sets of T's&C's. This topic is forever coming up, the answer is always the same, I am entitled to exactly what you are entitled to , pay, leave,(subject to seniority/ pro rata) etc. I know the union get a lot of stick on here, probably rightly so, however they simply would not negotiate separate and inferior terms ,it is logistically impossible to enforce.

you dont have separate terms and conditions, the terms and conditions are exactly the same, reserves are getting an average of 1 in 6 off, the terms and conditions dont say exactly 1 in 6 off in a rotational basis, also the terms and conditions dont mention mondays following saturdays, so the terms and conditions are the same

In our office the reserves get about 1 in 6 saturdays off...thats 1 in 6 months! Staff shortages always come to a head on saturdays and management steal our saturdays to plug the gaps. Complaining to the union rep has not changed anything. We're being treated like second class citizens as though agreements don't apply to us. Anybody else had similar issues and how did you get it resolved?
