If Only Every One Voted

With this Scottish vote thingy going on. One thing is obvious. That the politicians are frightened to hell when people are threatening to come out in their droves and vote that could change things for ever.
Imagine if all members voted in leadership elections, strike ballots and pay deals. We could affect real change.
One of the famed sayings is that if voting changed anything they'd abolish it. Well watch this space.
Many US citizens have already been disenfranchised by gerrymandering politicians.

Seems ludicrous to me that they are allowing 16 year olds to vote on this issue, they can barely tie their shoelaces and yet here they are being trusted with, for Scotland, a life changing future.

Well I had a specific purpose when I was 16 however the decision to become a soldier is for a finite period even though you do not have individual freedoms and your life is ordered; in the case for independence you have no control after the initial vote and the decision is final and forever. You can't buy yourself out of independence.
