better deal for delivey staff

when will the union get a better deal for the delivery staff. we get all the hassle when delivering , try and cut off and we have to justify it. try and book extended and its like using the dims own money. the d2d payments are a joke. even the workers who don't deliver them get paid.

Where do you get the idea from that we are well paid? Everyone I know are better paid than me! I am not talking about skilled workers either. I know a friend who digs holes ready for cables who clears £467 a week. I have a brother who is a ticket collector and works 35 hours a week brings home £1700 PCM.
We work like hod carriers for what is not a living wage come home completly worn out and don't even get a weekend in this family friendly job.
Get in the real world! I am.

Don't think the paid is that good either, I mean it will be hard for me to buy a house with the pay and mortgages. But it is better paid than lot of services jobs ie Cleaners, cook, sales assistant and more. Ten years ago I used to work as web designer and only get 12,000 a year so it is not that bad.

It's a great wage if you are single or live with mum and dad as most do. You have a wife and a couple of kids and a mortgage then see how great the wage is and no chance of overtime.

Why not try and join them sounds like easy money. Good pension, holiday pay and conditions as well?

Depends on where in the country you live certain cities especially in England must be a nightmare. Certainly dont see many guys in our area who have been in 10 years plus struggling.
