Hi all
we have 5 job vacancies at my DO and we have had 3 transferees in :Applause

what is the protocol as regarding there seniority towards the existing rounds vacated by dismissed staff :Boo hoo!

IE: should a postman move to our office and be able to apply for the now vacant duty......or ...... should 'they' be told to wait for 6 months until they can apply for duties

Sign for vacant duties straight away i would think as they are not on a duty when they start at your office.

They keep their seniority and have the same rights as everyone already at your office.
