sorry best answer is how longs a piece of string, for minor issues should be a few weeks at most for more serious could be far longer

Depends if other people need to be interviewed or further enquiries made. The staff member subject to conduct should be advised if there is going to be a delay.

First things first due process is a fact finding interview and you will receive a copy of the notes and the opportunity for amendments to be returned within 3 working days.
Dependant on the issue further investigation may be necessary to collate all relevant information.
On receipt of all information a decision will be made if the matter requires a formal conduct interview and depending on the gravity of the situation can the punishment be issued by first line manager ( up to 2 years serious) and if he/she feels that the issue requires a greater punishment outwith their level of authority is will be passed up line to a higher authority.
If passed up line you will receive written confirmation to attend a formal conduct interview with the opportunity to be accompanied to this interview and a date set for the interview.
At this meeting their will probably be a note taker and once again you will receive copies of the interview notes and any amendments you wish to make to be returned within 3 working days.
The interviewer on receipt of these notes signed off including amendments you will be required to attend another meeting to be given their decision face to face.
So from FF to final decision could be completed within 14 days provided the higher level of authority in not on annual leave or off sick.

Ok but you have not stated at what stage of the process you are currently at. So has there been a fact finding interview carried out and you are now awaiting written confirmation that a formal conduct interview is proceeding.
If this is the case and not knowing the full circumstances and I am again assuming that you are not currently suspended then 3 months without any written notification seems to be excessive and there is the possibility that the matter is not going any further and has been dropped and not having notified you they are keeping you on suspense.

Yeah got a fact finding interview, got notes from the interview back, didnt sign them as I amended a few things, didnt get a copy back to sign, but then got a letter to say it had been passed on to higher authority, but still nothing.

Great isn't it how you only get a few days to appeal or send your documents back(with the turds sometimes sending out the letter over the week end then you in effect only have a day ) yet they can take as long as they bloody want..the corrupt twats.
