Fecking Idiots - Postal delivery Staff

Post by tyconuk »

Yes i am a postman on the delivery side of RM
But this morning, i went in at 6.10am
Their fecking postman throwing off their walks
NOT only that, the drivers told me that some of them had been in since
5.45am, are these people for fecking real, Their are post-people in Liverpool
& London, striking for these twat's!
And then you get "i'm using my car tomorrow, i'm not waiting for my bags on a saturday!"
KNOB HEADS

I get so angry with these people, I will go as far as saying that they may as well be strike breakers
When will these fecking IDIOTS learn?
I don't thibk they ever will!
BUT one thing is for sure, i will not be speaking too the feckers any more!
They can go to HELL! With their mates the DUM's!!!!!

We have a full timer who the manager allows to leave early @ 8.30AM and should not go out till 9.30AM. Gets back today at 11.30AM and actual finish time is 2PM :no no
If I did'nt know any better, I'd say you were talking about my office, mate! Guy who starts at 6.00 (7.30) is a scab! Special dispensation from the dum, and he runs his round and will finish a darn sight earlier than the other p/t walks!! He also comes in on his day off, collects his d2d's to take home and put together!! :no no
I think it happens all over..........all offices have butt-munchers
When I die, bury me face down so everyone can kiss my arse! :o)

part timers are the worst people in our office. most of them come in a hour early. they are probably losing 4-5 hours a week in over time.

Just to let you know not all of us are as bad as you paint - I stopped starting much earlier than 15mins as soon as my permanant contract took effect. With the new start times, I wait till I hear the 7am news ( I have a radio on my bench, to the annoyance of those that can hear it and the main one up the front ), then and only then do I put anything in my frame.

And after yesterday's announcement, I cut off & hopefully an agency I joined recently, will be getting me regular afternoon / evening work - so I won't be beholden to RM and the vagaries of docket ( seeing as I took PT, cos the DUM said there were no more FT contracts, "...but you can make up your hours with OT" - no feckin' good now, with 2 less hrs I could use for delivery ).

I care deeply about my job & the service, but the best advice I ever got ( from Homo Harry, via another site, incidently ) was "Remember, the way you do you job will affect colleagues for years to come - if you cut corners to do it quick, they will be expected to as well....and then RM will add extra work to fill the gaps." That sort of information gives me a sense of responsibility to all postmen, even those that have not yet joined.
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?

Mail delivery; those that can, do, those that can't, MANAGE!
